- Texel beer: in the tasting room of the Texelse Bierbrouwerij in Oudeschild a guide tells you about the history of the beer, and at the family brewery Tesselaar in Den Burg you can taste island beers such as Slufter Bok.
- Fort De Schans: near Oudeschild on the Wadden Sea coast lies Fort De Schans, one of the oldest military structures in the Netherlands.
- Church tower Den Burg: in July and August you can climb the church tower of Den Burg for a wide view over the island.
- Shrimp fishing: sail with the TX20 Walrus and catch shrimps on the Wadden Sea.
