Tesselaar - Brewery

The Tesselaar brewery is the family brewery of the Diks family in Den Burg on Texel. In copper kettles the family brews a wide range of island beers, from pilsner to bock.

What can you expect at the Tesselaar brewery?

• Beers: You can taste Eiland Pilsener, Strandstruner, Slufter Bok and Waalenburg Dubbel, among others. There is also an alcohol-free beer.
• Tour: On the extended tour of an hour and a half, the family welcomes you with coffee or tea. You see, smell and taste the brewing process and get three tasting glasses of beer or a soft drink. The tour is in Dutch; there is also a German-language tour.
• Shop: The tour ends in the shop, where you receive a seasonal surprise and a Tesselaar beer glass to take home.
• Please note: For safety reasons children under 8 or shorter than 130 centimetres cannot join. No alcohol is served to anyone under 18.
