Texel Half marathon 2027

The Texel Half Marathon has a start you won't find anywhere else: the runners step ashore from the ferry and then explore the island of Texel on foot.

• Distances: you choose between 21.1 and 10 kilometres, so there is a challenge for every level.
• Participants: around 1,600 runners take part.
• Course: the route takes you through woods and rolling dunes, along the beach and through Texel's farmland; sun, salt and wind are part of the experience.
• Finish: the finish is in Den Burg, where islanders and visitors cheer the runners on.
• When: every year on the last Sunday of September.
