De Ark is a converted characteristic farmhouse with apartments in Den Hoorn, the southernmost village of Texel. Those who choose to stay at De Ark can enjoy a free view of a typical Texel meadow landscape with forest and dunes in the background.

Around the farmhouse, there are various small animals. There is a play-sun meadow with a sandbox, swings, seesaw, and slide. In bad weather, children can enjoy themselves in a playroom.
