Bungalow Sonja - Chaumière

In 2014 we have realized a small detached bungalow on our property, in the form of a small farm. Authentic and gently matching the surroundings. Fully equipped and adapted to the requirements of this time. From a historical perspective this entails only one name: Sonja Hoeve.

Sonja Hoeve is a detached bungalow in a typical Texel architectural style and suitable for 6 people. The bungalow has a spacious lounge with French doors to the terrace and an open kitchen, 3 bedrooms (1 on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor), a bathroom on the ground floor with luxurious walk-in showers. The ground floor is provided with floor heating. Sonja Hoeve is wheelchair accessible.

In the kitchen there is a Smeg refridgerator, a Smeg built-in oven with 5 gas burners, a dishwasher, a microwave, a tea maker, a coffee machine and all the necessary kitchen equipment. The bedrooms are furnished with boxspring beds. A child's bed can be added if needed. Sonja is equipped with tv reception via satellite so all popular Dutch and German tv channels can be watched. There is a TV set both in the lounge and in the bedroom on the groundfloor. We offer free WIFI internet in Bungalow Sonja Hoeve. There's a washing machine and a tumble dryer at your disposal. No extra charge.

Wheelchair accesible

The bungalow is without a threshold on the ground floor. The bathroom has an antiskid floor. The front door (passageway 90 cm) can be opened electrically. The interior doors giving access to other rooms on the ground floor are sliding doors (passageway 90 cm). The terrace can be reached through French doors from the living room. All the bedrooms have good boxspringbeds. The bathroom on the ground floor is provided with a wash basin that is adjustable in height and accessible by wheelchair. A wall rail system offers easy installation of a shower chair and / or hinged arm supports mounted by the side of the toilet.

The bungalow is suited for 6 persons. On the ground floor (70 m²) there is 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom, the kitchen and the lounge. The first floor is the same size and can be reached by climbing the stairs. There is no (chair) lift available.

There is a completely furnished kitchen. There is no space under the kitchen worktop for a wheelchair, but we placed more drawers instead of base cabinets under the worktop. The kitchen has a dishwasher, a microwave, a tea maker and a luxurious coffee machine (coffee beans are freshly ground).

The bathroom are provided with an antiskid floor. The bathroom on the ground floor is provided with a wash basin that is adjustable in height and accessible by wheelchair. A wall rail system offers easy installation of a shower chair and / or hinged arm supports mounted by the side of the toilet. What can you expect from wheelchair friendly?
